INFROGNITO is a 2.5D stealth platformer created using the Unity engine. This game was created as part of my Honours dissertation titled "Determining the Correlation Between Nostalgia and Level Design" - aiming to pinpoint certain aspects of level design that invoke nostalgia within players.

I chose this topic to research because at the moment there seems to be a worldwide longing for the past. Nostalgia is not a new concept by any means but it is something that is forever changing. We can find ourselves feeling nostalgia over something from just a few years ago. I wanted to develop a game that can incorporate the nostalgia of players from different generations.

In this game, the player takes on the role of a cunning Frog who plans to take down an evil company that filled his pond with cement to make way for a new parking lot. Taking place in a low-poly dystopian future where cameras are everywhere and no one roams the streets, the player must use their platforming abilities as well as in-game stealth features in order to infiltrate the E-Ville Building.

Inspired by games like Crash Bandicoot and Endling for their 2.5D gameplay, Grim Fandango for the music and art style as well as Orwell's 1984 to inspire the Surveillance State villains.
